Home Page Barb and Cap Horning welcome you to Cape Horn African Adventures . Whether this is your first or your twentieth safari, we have created this website to help people like ourselves (you) tailor and personalize the best, yet most cost efficient safari possible. CHAA maintains a US based office in Wimberley, Texas except for that time of year when one or both of us are in Tanzania during the hunting season, joint-venturing our efforts with: Con van Wyk Safaris, Ltd Tanzania and our good friend Con van Wyk as he begins his eleventh year in Tanzania. Con has teamed up with Malagarasi Safaris and will be hunting M1, R1 and K4 concessions along the southern banks of the Great Ruaha River in the Selous Game Reserve as well as the Kigosi GCA immediately to the east of the Moyowasi GCA. Pen de Vries as he begins his eighth year hunting in Tanzania. Pen, a 20 year veteran hunting in Africa, originally licensed in Zimbabwe, has been very impressed with the quality of the concessions of the 3 major ecosystems he has hunted taking many excellent trophies and "full-bag" (primary game) 21 day safaris (please see "Rungwa Galleries 2006-2008"). Pen can also personally plan and host a tailor-made, photographic safari for you in Tanzania from the Serengeti to the Indian Ocean, as well as some extraordinary hunting for buffalo and Banteng in Arnhemland in the Northern Territories of Australia with Australian River Plains Adventures. Fish Eagle Point nestled along Mkandini Beach north of Tanga, Tanzania; ‘where peace and tranquility prevail. Imagine strolling amidst the wild, tropical, coastal vegetation - swarming with birdlife, the elusive suni, bushpig and bushbuck, giant squirrels, monkeys and baboons…or gently ambling along white, sandy beaches and coves featuring a myriad of exotic sea creatures. The seafront, with protected coves and bays, offer wonderfully 'child friendly' swimming at both high and low tides and snorkeling just off the beach, amongst the coral heads, will introduce you to the stunningly colorful sea life.’ Whether a primary destination or to simply relax after an arduous safari, Steve and Cathy Attwell will make this destination one of your finest Tanzanian memories (See “Links” page). "On foot, the pulse of Africa comes
through your boot. You are an animal among others, [wary]
of the shadowed places, of sudden quiet in the air. "
